Job summary

Roc Search is seeking a Civil Engineer (EIT/PE) to join a collaborative team delivering high quality land development projects across the Denver Metro area.

You will design and review site plans, grading, drainage, and stormwater systems using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, conduct feasibility studies, prepare technical reports and construction documents, and ensure compliance with local codes and standards. EIT required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• EIT required; PE license preferred.
• 4-6 years of experience in land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and stormwater design.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Project management experience is a plus (senior level).
• Familiarity with local zoning, permitting, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with project managers and internal teams to design and deliver land development solutions.
• Develop engineering drawings, site plans, grading plans, and profiles using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Perform design work related to stormwater management, hydrology, grading, and erosion control.
• Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess land use and identify design opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs meet local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices through ongoing training and development.
