Job summary

Core States Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Designer (Land Development) for new graduates in Bellevue, WA. The role is full-time, onsite, and paid hourly with overtime eligibility.

The team offers strong compensation and a clear path to a $70k–$90k annualized range. You will work on land development projects from concept to construction, using Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with support for AI-assisted processes and collaborative project delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 graduation
• EIT is a plus but not required
• Experience with Civil 3D and AutoCAD is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to identify practical uses for company-approved AI tools to improve team processes and efficiency
• Demonstrated ability to review AI-generated content for accuracy and protect confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges
• Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents
• Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application
• Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards
• Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements
• Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials
• Assist project engineers in completing projects on time and within budgets
• Attend project meetings
