Job summary

Stoeppelwerth & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to plan, design, and coordinate residential and commercial land development projects in Central Indiana.

The role collaborates with project managers, CAD technicians, survey personnel, and clients to develop engineering solutions and deliver construction documents that meet regulatory requirements. The candidate will apply sound engineering principles from concept through permitting and construction, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare engineering plans and construction documents for residential and commercial land development projects.
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility systems, and drainage infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses to support design and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate project design with managers, CAD staff, survey personnel, and other team members.
• Prepare and review permit applications, drainage reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with project planning, permitting, and construction administration activities.
