Job summary

Stoeppelwerth & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to lead the planning, design, and coordination of residential and commercial land development projects in Central Indiana.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Senior CAD Technicians, survey personnel, and clients to produce construction documents, perform engineering calculations, and ensure regulatory compliance from concept through permitting and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification required; PE license preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare engineering plans and construction documents for land development.
• Develop site layouts, grading plans, utility systems, and drainage infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses for design and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate project design with Project Managers, CAD staff, survey personnel, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and review technical reports, permit applications, drainage reports, and supporting project documentation.
• Assist with project planning, permitting, and construction administration activities.
