Job summary

You will design grading plans, streets, utilities, and site layouts using Autodesk Civil 3D, producing precise construction drawings for residential and commercial projects. You will collaborate with engineers and other disciplines, ensure compliance with standards, and support project documentation from concept through final plans.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Technical Drawing, CAD and drawing production.
• Experience creating and interpreting Construction Drawings and Design Engineering plans.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate technical documentation.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary teams.
• 3+ years CAD design experience in land development or construction.
• Associate degree in CAD drafting or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate grading design in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Analyze markups, notes and input material to plan drawings with minimal supervision.
• Execute project drawings using Civil 3D to produce legible, technically correct drawings.
• Make revisions to existing drawings from verbal explanations and markups.
• Assist Engineers in producing design and construction documents.
• Consistently implement design/drawing standards and file systems.
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
