AVCON, INC. is looking for a Designer to join our Land Development team in DeLand, Florida. You will prepare construction drawings including site plans, grading and drainage, roadway alignment, and cross sections, while assembling permit submittals and project specifications.

The role requires AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, collaboration with engineers, and accurate maintenance of drawing files. Occasional outdoor site visits may occur as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in civil engineering drafting and design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Aufgaben

• Prepare construction drawings: site plans, grading and drainage plans, roadway alignment, sections, earthwork calculations, water distribution, sewer systems, storm sewer design, and intersections.
• Prepare project specifications and assemble permit submittals (Water Management, FDEP, City, County, State).
• Maintain project drawing files and adhere to CAD standards.
• Create maps, graphs, overlays, base drawings, and sketches.
• Perform quantity calculations and takeoffs.
