Job summary

CPH in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Project Designer - Land Development to support day-to-day on-site layout, grading and construction coordination for large commercial developments.

You will prepare design documents with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, collaborate with engineers and architects, and ensure designs meet codes and client needs. An Associate CAD certificate or degree is preferred; valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or CAD certificate is required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Adobe Suite is mandatory.
• Experience on Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, or Industrial projects is a plus.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate design and construction documents using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
• Interpret codes, regulations and client requirements to guide design.
• Develop CAD standards and templates to ensure quality.
• Travel for site investigations and report observations.
• Assist in compiling construction plans and coordinate submissions.
