Adventist HealthCare seeks a LAN Technician I to provide on-site IT support, diagnose and repair hardware, and serve as tier II escalation from the service desk. The role includes light network/server troubleshooting and assisting with smart hands support, with a focus on timely end-user assistance.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in CS/IT (preferred), with A+ certification or equivalent (within 6 months) and ITILv3 Foundations preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in computer science or information technology.
• A+ certification required or within 6 months of employment.
• ITILv3 Foundations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a single point of contact for on-site support operations and in-person request fulfillment, incident management and access management workflows.
• Install, diagnose, repair, maintain and upgrade computer hardware to ensure optimal workstation performance.
• Serve as tier II escalation support from the service desk.
• Assist with smart hands support and light troubleshooting of basic network and server hardware.
• Troubleshoot problems in person, by phone, or via email and provide end-user assistance as required.
