Job summary

Brunswick Vonore site seeks a Lamination Technician I to perform routine lay‑up and mixing of composite materials for fiberglass hulls and decks. You will work with open mold and vacuum infusion, prepare molds, and install wood components, using power tools and forklifts as needed.

Strong teamwork and safety focus is essential. Essential handling includes long shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to quality standards while collaborating across departments in a noisy manufacturing

Qualifications

• Ability to stand 10+ hours and perform tasks at height or stairs.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and handle parts in tight spaces.
• Willing to work overtime to meet goals.
• Follow quality standards and adapt as processes evolve.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability in prior roles.
• Team player able to work with multiple departments.
• Follow verbal and written work directions.
• Work around co-workers in limited space and in a noisy environment.
• Preferred: ability to read blueprints.
• Preferred: 3+ years in manufacturing; marine industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mix and lay-up composite materials using open mold and vacuum infusion.
• Prepare molds and apply fiberglass materials per instructions.
• Sand, grind, and finish fiberglass hulls and decks.
• Install wood cores and components into hulls and molded parts.
• Operate power tools safely (saws, drills, grinders, sanders).
• Safely operate forklifts and tugger vehicles to move materials.
