Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor within the Performance Food Group, is seeking an experienced sales professional to develop independent accounts in the Lake Charles, LA area.

The role focuses on profitability through new sales and account penetration, with commission-based pay, monthly and annual bonuses, and opportunities for growth within a team that supports America’s food distribution system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
• 6-12 months sales/marketing and/or restaurant experience
• Valid Drivers License
• Post high school education, i.e. culinary training or business degree (preferred)
• 2+ years sales work experience in foodservice preferred

Responsibilities

• Generates additional business through analyzing sales territory and presenting products to customers.
• Grows sales and profit margins to meet goals.
• Sets up new customer accounts and coordinates deliveries and pricing.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and works with center personnel to resolve issues.
• Builds additional business with current customers through product penetration.
