Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced RN lactation consultant to assess and support breastfeeding families across antepartum, post-partum, and neonatal care. You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate lactation care in alignment with hospital policies.

The role requires current Georgia RN licensure, a background in maternal-child nursing, and IBCLC credentials are preferred.

Formación

• RN with Georgia license required.
• IBCLC preferred or breast feeding counselor certification preferred.
• Current GA RN License required.
• NRP, BLS, and related certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and evaluate the breastfeeding couplet and plan care.
• Provide lactation education and support to antepartum, post-partum, and neonatal patients.
• Monitor to prevent and resolve breastfeeding problems and support families.
• Educate patients and staff on lactation management.

Educación

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor's Degree of Nursing
