Qualifications

Breastfeeding educator/training coursework completed and eligible to sit for IBCLC exam

Responsibilities

Provide perinatal education to prenatal and postpartum patients.
Provide lactation consultation and education for breastfeeding mothers in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Manage outpatient education program to meet community needs.
Assess, plan, implement, and follow up with clients’ lactation care.
