Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a part-time Lactation Consultant RN in L&D to educate and support prenatal and postpartum patients, provide lactation consultations, and coordinate outpatient education programs.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure in California with IBCLC eligibility or certification, 2 years of perinatal nursing/education experience, and BLS certification; this role features variable 8-hour shifts and a patient-centered culture of care.

Qualificações

• California Registered Nurse License is required.
• IBCLC eligibility or ability to sit for exam within 1 year or upon employment.
• 2 years' experience in perinatal nursing, perinatal education, or counseling postpartum breastfeeding women in a hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide perinatal education to prenatal and postpartum patients.
• Provide lactation consultation and education for breastfeeding mothers in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assess, plan, implement support and follow-up evaluation for clients.
