Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Marble Falls, TX is seeking a Lactation Consultant RN for part-time days. You will create a breastfeeding plan, educate parents and staff, update protocols, and provide bedside consultations.

You will guide families in breastfeeding, assess needs, document teachings, and contribute to neonatal outcomes. Strong communication and clinical skills are essential in this Labor & Delivery role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, preferably in nursing.
• Two years of professional experience required.
• BLS Certification.
• RN licensure and lactation credentials (CLC/IBCLC).

Responsibilities

• Create a breastfeeding plan for patients.
• Educate parents and staff on breastfeeding.
• Update protocols and provide bedside consultations.
• Document teachings and communicate findings to staff.
• Track neonatal outcomes related to breastfeeding.
• Demonstrate breast pump use and maintenance when needed.
