Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking an RN Lactation Consultant to provide patient-centered nursing care and support for obstetric patients. You will coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

This role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and compassionate patient education. The position follows a full-time schedule (0.9 FTE) on a 7a–7p shift, with a comprehensive benefits package including sign-on bonus, loan repayment

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and patient education abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered nursing care.
• Assess patients and document findings; report changes promptly.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to implement care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and post-discharge care.
