Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic lactation care using nursing process to individuals, groups, or communities.
• Educate mothers, families, and healthcare teams on lactation management.
• Develop and implement lactation programs and policies at site and system levels.
• Maintain lactation consultation services and participate in quality and safety initiatives.
• Represent lactation department in unit, system, and community meetings.
