Operates packaging equipment such as banding, shrink wrap machines, straps, and wraps packages, mail trays, and pallets for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. Uses weight-handling equipment including fork-lifts and/or pallet jacks and moves forms, supplies, equipment and finished mail to and from a warehouse or staging area.

Delivers positions and stacks boxes, trays, and pallets of materials safely and effectively in storage and work areas. Operates packaging equipment such as banding, shrink wrap machines, straps, and wraps packages, mail trays, and pallets for shipment. Loads stock in staging areas and inserts equipment according to established procedures. Assembles mail trays onto pallets for shipment according to established procedures.
