Position Summary

MARTIN MARIETTA MAGNESIA SPECIALTIES, LLC , Manistee Plant, is seeking candidates for Laborer/ Entry Level Operator positions. This job is a combination of manual work, equipment operation, use of computers for data entry, and general plant labor.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include packaging, palletizing, wrapping, marking and loading products into railcars and trucks; operating forklifts to move packaged product and load/unload trucks, railcars, and overseas containers; assisting Control Room Operators with operation, monitoring, and maintenance of process equipment; performing routine equipment, process, and sample checks; and observing all safety rules while maintaining good housekeeping in work areas.

Qualifications

Minimum 18 years of age and high school graduate. Must be able to lift 55 lbs., work rotating shifts, and be capable of moving into positions with decision‑making responsibility. Looking for a team player with strong work ethic, solid integrity, and reliability. Must pass pre‑employment physical and drug test, background check, and WorkKeys skills test.
