Haynes Group in Massachusetts is seeking a diligent Laborer to support construction sites with cleaning, material handling, and basic demolition tasks. You will read plans, operate hand and power tools under supervision, and contribute to safe, efficient jobsite operations.

• One or more years of experience in construction, demolition or landscaping.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and load/unload materials safely.
• Excellent stamina and physical endurance for demanding jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools as directed by management.
• Clean and prepare construction sites, erect scaffolding, and dispose of debris.
• Shovel material and manage loads of asphalt, dirt and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and report violations immediately.
• Maintain a safe, clean site; store materials properly and secure the area daily.
• Travel to remote job sites as directed by management.

PositionSummary:

Responsibleforcleaningandpreparingconstructionsites.Unloadsandloadsmaterials,readsplansandspecifications,tendsmachines,sitedemolitionandpropertymanagement(Landscaping).

ResponsibilitiesandDuties

• Operateavarietyofhandandpowertools,includingdrills,forklifts,skidloadersandothertoolsasdirectedbymanagement.
• Cleanandprepareconstructionsitesasneeded,includingerectingscaffolding,removingandproperlydisposingofdebrisandwastematerials,anddiggingtrenches.
• Shovelmaterialstoandfromconstructionareas,includingasphaltanddirt.
• Followallsafetyproceduresonthejobsiteandreportviolationsimmediatelytomanagement.
• Maintainasafeandcleanjobsitebyhandlingmaterialsandstoringthemproperly,pickingupandremovingalltoolsandequipmentwhennotinuse,andsecuringthejobsiteonadailybasis.
• Loadandunloadconstructionsuppliesfromtrucksbothmanuallyandwiththeuseofequipment.
• Landscapingandpropertymanagementexperienceaplus.
• Reportincidentsimmediatelytosafetydirector,foremanorHRinaccordancewithincidentreportingproceduresestablishedbythecompany.
• Traveloutoftowntoworkonremotejobsitesasdirectedbymanagement.
