Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Must provide own basic hand tools and transportation to and from job sites.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Complete task-specific work on commercial projects, including interior demolition, carpentry, drywall, finishing.
• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Work with project managers and supervisors to maintain schedules and subcontractor scope.
• Assist supervisor with punch lists and closeout.
• Develop client relationships on applicable projects.
• Assist supervising in directing subcontractors and vendors while managing quality and time.
• Understand subcontractor scope and manage change orders.
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors.
• Complete OSHA 10 training if not already.
• Follow safety procedures.

RoleandResponsibilities:

• Completejob-specifictasksoncommercialprojectsincluding,butnotlimitedtointeriordemolition,roughandfinishcarpentry,metalframeanddrywall,tapingandfinishing,acousticceilings,andinstallationoffinishes,andlaboring.
• Understandconstructionlayout,methodsofsequence,andhowtoreadplansandspecifications.
• Workcloselywithprojectmanagersandsupervisorstomaintainprojectschedules,definesubcontractorscope,andprovidesolutionstoonsiteissues.
• Assistsupervisorincompletingpunchlistandthecloseoutprocess
• Workwithclientswhenapplicabletodeveloprelationshipsandbuildafoundationforfuturework
• AssistSupervisorindirectingsubcontractorsandvendorswhilemanaging,qualityandtimeframe.
• Fullyunderstandsubcontractorscopeofworkandmanage/minimizesubcontractorchangeorders.
• Maintainagoodworkingrelationshipwithallsubcontractors.
• CompleteOSHA10Hourtrainingcourseifnotinpossession.
• Understandandfollowcompanysafetyprocedures.
