HGFacilitiesSolutionsLLC seeks aFacilities Maintenance Technician to perform general property upkeep across the West Bridgewater, MA area. Responsibilities include outdoor maintenance, snow removal, drywall, painting, carpentry, and basic systems installation, under supervision.

The successful candidate will have hands-on carpentry, landscaping, snow removal, and building maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license for occasional travel to remote sites.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to remote sites.
• Ability to lift and operate heavy equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas.
• Operate snow removal equipment during winter months.
• Apply salt or de-icing agents to ensure safety.
• Patch and repair drywall to maintain interiors.
• Perform painting tasks including surface prep, priming, and finishing.
• Carpentry tasks such as installing doors/windows and building fixtures.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely to complete projects.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform minor plumbing and HVAC repairs when needed.
• Follow safety regulations and report violations promptly.
• Assist demolition tasks for renovations or construction.
• Load and unload construction supplies as needed.
• Travel to remote sites as directed by management.

PositionSummary:

Responsibleforgeneralpropertymaintenanceacrossourportfolioofproperties.

ResponsibilitiesandDuties

• Maintainthecleanlinessandappearanceofoutdoorareas,includingwalkways,parkinglots,andbuildingexteriors.
• Operatesnowremovalequipmenttocleardriveways,walkways,andparkinglotsduringwintermonths.
• Applysaltorotherde-icingagentsasneededtoensuresafety.
• Patchandrepairdrywalltomaintaintheappearanceandintegrityofinteriorspaces.
• Performpaintingtasks,includingsurfacepreparation,priming,andapplyingpaint.
• Performcarpentrytaskssuchasframing,installingdoorsandwindows,andbuildingorrepairingfurnitureandfixtures.

• Assistwiththeinstallationofbuildingsystemsandcomponentsasdirectedbyprojectsupervisors.
• Operateavarietyofhandandpowertools,includingdrills,forklifts,skidloadersandothertoolsasdirectedbymanagement.
• Cleanandprepareconstructionsitesasneeded,includingerectingscaffolding,removingandproperlydisposingofdebrisandwastematerials,anddiggingtrenches.
• Shovelmaterialstoandfromconstructionareas,includingasphaltanddirt.
• Followallsafetyproceduresonthejobsiteandreportviolationsimmediatelytomanagement.
• Maintainasafeandcleanjobsitebyhandlingmaterialsandstoringthemproperly,pickingupandremovingalltoolsandequipmentwhennotinuse,andsecuringthejobsiteonadailybasis.
• Loadandunloadconstructionsuppliesfromtrucksbothmanuallyandwiththeuseofequipment.
• Reportincidentsimmediatelytosafetydirector,foremanorHRinaccordancewithincidentreportingproceduresestablishedbythecompany.
• Traveloutoftowntoworkonremotejobsitesasdirectedbymanagement.
