Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is coming to the Akron/Cleveland area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Laborers! Aerial Telecom Laborers (Groundman) will handle projects of various complexity and perform site work on new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. It is also a great opportunity to be part of the initial team that will establish Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in Northeast Ohio as it grows.

Responsibilities

• Work as a part of an overhead telecom crew.
• Load, unload, layout, and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site.
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor.
• Handle physically demanding construction duties.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A is strongly desired.
• Must be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to travel.
• Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions.
• Valid Driver's license required with a clean driving record for the last 3 years.
• Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
• Must be committed to working safely.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation, and maintenance.
