Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring in the Cleveland/Akron area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman!

Aerial Telecom Lineman will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. This role offers a great opportunity to be part of the team establishing Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in Northeast Ohio as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities

1. Planning and initiating projects
2. Establishing OSHA and customer safety requirements
3. Setting poles
4. Maintaining and repairing overhead fiber optic facilities
5. Installing new strand and lashing fiber
6. Installing and maintaining down guys, overhead guys, etc.
7. Building risers, installing snow shoes/slack coils
8. Tree trimming

Linemen Requirements & Qualifications

1. Must have 1+ years’ experience in the industry
2. Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area
3. Basic tools required, such as climbing tools (belt and gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
4. Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
5. Bilingual skills and prior construction experience are highly desirable

Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation, and maintenance.
