The Laborer will support site operations, with duties that may change based on project needs, and must be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Flag traffic to ensure safety on active job sites.
• Set up and maintain erosion control measures.
• Load and unload materials for project needs.
• Shovel and rake dirt, gravel, and asphalt.
• Perform general site cleanup and maintain a safe workspace.
• Check and maintain grade stakes for elevation and alignment.
• Set up and maintain traffic control aids (signs, barriers).
• General maintenance of all equipment and tools on site.
• Assist in other duties as directed by supervisors.

• Flag trafficto ensure the safety of workers and the public on active job sites.
• Set up and maintain erosion control measuresto protect the site and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload materialsas required for project needs.
• Shovel and rake dirt, gravel, and asphalt, preparing surfaces for further work.
• Performgeneral site cleanup, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
• Check and maintain grade stakesto ensure correct elevation and alignment.
• Set up and maintain traffic control aids(signs, barriers, etc.) to manage site traffic.
• General maintenance of all equipment and toolsused on the job site.
• Assist in any other duties as directed by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• The position requiresperiods of standing, walking, stooping, and bending.
• Ability to climb equipment laddersto reach the operator's seat.
• Must be able tolift up to 50 poundsperiodically.
• Ability to work invaried weather conditionsand outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Must bewilling to work weekendsas needed.
• Previous construction or labor experience is a plus.
• Ability to followverbal and written instructionseffectively.
• Team playerattitude with a strong focus on safety and job quality.
