Job summary

Twining Consulting Inc. in Fountain Valley, CA is seeking a Laboratory Test Technician to perform standard tests on building products in both lab and field settings. You will set up test assemblies, operate testing equipment, and prepare electronic daily reports while adhering to safety protocols.

Construction, trades, military, or commercial lab experience is preferred; window fabrication or welding helps. Must lift 30–50 lb, work outdoors, and occasionally extend hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in general construction, trade, military, or commercial laboratory.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Window installation/fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform standard tests on building products in lab and field settings.
• Operate testing equipment for windows, doors, curtain walls, storefronts, skylights, etc.
• Prepare and submit electronic daily test and observation reports and hours worked.
• Set up instrumentation and maintain detailed documentation of test results.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
• Adhere to safety measures and be available for extended hours when needed.
