Job summary

Chambers Health is seeking a Laboratory Tech for a PRN role in Mont Belvieu and Anahuac. You will handle routine lab tests, maintain equipment and inventory, and ensure accurate recordkeeping under supervision of the Laboratory Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology, Biology, or Chemistry with strong attention to detail, safety compliance, and good communication with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Record daily temperatures for equipment and laboratory area; troubleshoot deviations.
• Maintain reagent and supply inventory and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Follow safety guidelines and assist in collection of patient samples as requested by physician.
• Process samples and perform in-house testing per written procedures; report and sign results.
• Perform calibrations, quality controls and proficiency testing per manufacturer instructions.
