Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate of Science degree in Med Lab Technology or equivalent
• Bachelor of Science in MLS/MT required/preferred
• Ability to draw blood and operate current lab instruments
• Strong attention to quality control and patient safety

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic tests and procedures in assigned laboratory sections
• Draws and processes blood specimens; reports results
• Maintains quality control records and instruments
• Troubleshoots instrument issues and trains new staff as assigned
