As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program.Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Recent experience (within the last year) in a core laboratory setting is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Recent experience with the following is preferred: Sysmex XN9100, Sysmex Cellavision DM1200, ACL Top 350, Roche Cobas Pro Systems (ISE, c503, e801), Osmometer, Siemens Clinitek Advantus, GeneXpert, Ortho Swift, Ortho Optix and Wellsky. Experience with programs such as EPIC Beaker, Infinity for Roche Cobas Pro, Caresphere for Sysmex, and Unity Real Time is an asset.
