The GMP Group is seeking an R&D Lab Technician in Pioneer, West Region. This full-time role offers hands-on exposure to laboratory testing, material evaluation and product development within a growing advanced materials company.
You will work closely with experienced R&D, Quality and Manufacturing teams to conduct experiments, analyze data and document results, contributing to ongoing product improvements and process optimization.

This role offers hands-on exposure to laboratory testing, material evaluation, data analysis and product improvement, working closely with experienced R&D professionals and cross-functional teams.
Assist with prototype evaluation, laboratory testing and product trials.
Prepare samples, conduct experiments and record test results and observations.
Perform basic data analysis and support evaluation of product performance.
Operate, calibrate and perform routine care of laboratory instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate test records, laboratory documentation and technical reports.
Assist with developing or improving test methods and laboratory procedures.
Work closely with R&D, Quality and Manufacturing teams on product development and troubleshooting.
Support SAP updates, documentation and laboratory housekeeping.
Participate in improvement projects and other R&D activities when required.
Diploma in Materials Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science or related disciplines.
2–5 years of experience in laboratory, R&D, materials or manufacturing environments.
Comfortable handling laboratory equipment and testing instruments.
Basic understanding of materials, chemistry, polymers or manufacturing processes.
Familiar with laboratory safety practices and procedures.
Able to perform basic data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
Good documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
Proactive team player with a hands‑on approach to laboratory work.
