Job summary

Kelly Engineering in Pomona, CA is seeking an R&D Technician to support hands-on materials compatibility testing in a healthcare-product lab. This six-month contract role offers 100% onsite work and hands-on experience in R&D and product development.

The ideal candidate will have a chemistry/materials/engineering lab background, be able to follow protocols, document results, and work independently with strong organizational skills.

What You’ll Do

Must-Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
  
• Hands‑on experience in a chemistry, materials, or engineering laboratory.
  
• Comfortable performing repetitive, protocol‑driven testing.
  
• Strong written documentation skills and basic Microsoft Excel proficiency.
  
• Able to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks.
  
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  
• Able to work fully onsite in Pomona, CA.
