Job summary

Heraeus Materials Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated laboratory professional to advance new products and improve existing ones. You will perform hands-on testing, analyze data, and help implement new methodologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality.

The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing technical reports, and ensuring safety in a fast-paced R&D environment. Prior lab experience and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Material Science, Polymer, Chemistry, or related field.
• 2-5 years’ experience working in a laboratory environment or manufacturing industry.
• Competent in using laboratory equipment and/or software for data analysis.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a laboratory environment
• Basic knowledge in material science/chemistry/polymer/manufacturing process
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support and help to test prototypes under the guidance of senior R&D staff.
• Support/conduct experiments, data collection, and basic data analysis to support product innovation and improvement.
• Help to maintain detailed and accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results. Assist in preparation of technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and laboratory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Marketing, to support product development and troubleshooting.
• Support the R&D Team in SAP system, administrative documentation and maintain the lab cleanliness.
• Other assigned ad-hoc activities and related personal continuous improvement topics.
