Bunge in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to ensure quality specifications are met. The role involves a 12-hour rotating schedule (7-7) day and night shifts, with duties spanning analytical testing, data entry in QA databases, and maintaining safety and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in processing or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
• Knowledge of production processes, food lab instrumentation and test methods preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; teamwork essential.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and established test methods.
• Must read/write English for record keeping and training.

Responsabilités

• Participate in the Employee Safety Involvement plan.
• Maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
• Perform analytical tests on raw ingredients, in-process and finished products.
• Enter analysis data into QA databases.
• Assist in identifying and managing HOLD products.
• Identify deviations; report them with accurate information promptly.
• Prepare testing solutions, calibrations, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Support food safety culture and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
