Job summary

Bunge Limited is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Decatur, AL to perform sampling and routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. You will generate certificates of analysis, maintain logs, and ensure testing aligns with quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree in a science or technical field preferred.
• Candidates with the equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 4-6 years of lab experience in oils & fats, food processing, grain milling, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Verifies test results conform to product and customer specifications.
• Ensures timely delivery of test results, issuing certificates of analysis and maintaining databases.
• Prepares chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
• Follows lab safety regulations at all times.
