AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a dedicated phlebotomy professional to join our laboratory team. You will collect blood specimens, prepare them for testing, and ensure accurate labeling and handling.

The role promotes safety, quality, and compassionate patient care within a busy hospital setting. The position requires phlebotomy training or experience, strong English communication, and reliable computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Technical or vocational phlebotomy training is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use lab software.

Responsibilities

• May perform blood collection and prepare specimens for testing.
• Set up primary specimens and ensure proper labeling and handling.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and inventory in the lab area.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and evaluate new procedures.
• Provide safe, courteous customer service to patients and staff.
• Follow PPE usage, hygiene, and chemical safety policies.
• Document results and verify patient and order information.
• Support other duties to facilitate department operations.
