Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Palm Coast, FL for a 2+ month assignment. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining patient trust and confidentiality. Requires high school diploma and phlebotomy experience; medical training is preferred and certification is advantageous.

Flexible scheduling including weekends may be needed. Ideal candidates will have strong data entry skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and build trust and confidence during phlebotomy.
• Perform daily activities accurately under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, professional environment and proper records.
