Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is hiring a Laboratory Technician I to support lab operations in the evening shift. You will perform general lab duties, sample prep, and instrument-related tasks under QA programs and SOPs, contributing to accurate testing processes.

The role requires a high school diploma, basic lab experience, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with work hours 1:30 pm–10:00 pm and a commutable distance to North Kingstown, RI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework preferred.
• Basic laboratory experience preferred.
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meet deadlines).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Samples will be in coolers packed in ice.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Perform sample preparation such as aliquot samples, spike and concentrate, and prepare reagents.
• Learn and use the Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Resolve discrepancies and label samples correctly; maintain documentation and logs.
• Wash glassware and stock laboratory supplies; keep work areas clean and safe.
• Assist other laboratory areas as needed.
