Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Edison, NJ is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support routine lab operations and sample preparation while adhering to QA programs and SOPs. This is a full-time, first-step role with daytime to evening hours in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic lab experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training on LIMS and Mercury analysis is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework preferred.
• Basic laboratory experience preferred.
• Previous production-oriented work helpful (deadlines).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performing sample preparation as needed (aliquoting, spike and trace, preparing reagents).
• Prepare concentrations and bottles; perform digestions with concentrated acids.
• Learn the Eurofins Laboratory Information Management System and Mercury Analysis.
• Washing glassware and stocking supplies; maintain safe work areas.
