Job summary

SGS is seeking a Lab Technician I to process samples, perform analyses, and report accurate data in line with laboratory procedures. The role supports testing activities and equipment maintenance across our U.S. operations.

Both full-time and part-time schedules are available; candidates should be dependable and prepared to work as needed, including Saturdays to support laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Interest in Microbiology/Chemistry or related field or commercial laboratory experience preferred.

• Homogenizes samples following standard protocols.
• Assists with cleaning laboratory carts, glassware, racks.
• Maintains cleanliness of laboratory work surfaces.
• Maintains records of all quality activities as required in Operating Procedures and Test Methods.

• Maintains and verifies equipment.

_ SCHEDULED WORKING HOURS_

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. Days and hours of work will be scheduled according to business needs and may vary. Candidates must be dependable, adaptable to changing schedules, and willing to work Saturdays as required to support laboratory operations.
