Job summary

The Tiny Cargo Company in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to keep the lab running while scientists focus on the science. You will prepare materials, manage samples and inventory, and provide hands-on analytical support across quality control, drug loading, and stability work.

Reporting to the QC Scientist and R&D Scientist, you will gain qualification and broaden responsibilities as you progress in a regulated environment and grow with a small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Have at least a semester of wet lab experience in biology/biochemistry/chemistry/bioengineering.
• Comfort with aseptic or sterile technique and cell culture.
• Both two-year and four-year degree paths are acceptable depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare buffers, media, reagents, and solutions to specification and log them.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain glassware and labware; tune equipment.
• Receive, log, label, store samples and maintain chain of custody; manage inventory.
