Job summary

The Tiny Cargo Company in Roanoke, VA is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to execute cleanroom production of milk-derived extracellular vesicles. You will work across unit operations from raw material receipt through purification, lyophilization, filling, and packaging, while maintaining documentation and cGMP compliance.

You will train toward independent qualification across all unit operations within the first year, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in biology/biochemistry/engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Wet lab or manufacturing experience with aseptic technique.
• Able to work gowned in a cleanroom and to stand for extended periods and lift materials.

Responsibilities

• Execute production steps across raw material receipt, clarification, tangential flow filtration, chromatographic purification, lyophilization, fill and packaging.
• Prepare buffers and process solutions to specification.
• Set up, operate, monitor and troubleshoot process equipment and automated isolation systems; escalate excursions promptly.
• Maintain equipment logs, cleaning records, and material transaction records; support CAPA processes.
• Complete batch records contemporaneously and maintain environmental monitoring records for cleanroom certification.
