Job summary

The Tiny Cargo Company seeks a Laboratory Assistant to keep the lab running so scientists can focus on the science. You will prepare buffers, manage samples, and support quality control, drug loading, and stability studies under directed supervision.

You'll gain hands-on experience with NTA, Zetasizer, TEM, confocal microscopy, and plate reader while advancing toward broader responsibilities within a regulated lab environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least a semester of wet lab experience
• Exposure to aseptic or sterile technique and cell culture
• Two-year degree acceptable; four-year degree also welcome

Responsibilities

• Laboratory Preparation & Equipment Readiness: prepare buffers, media and solutions; clean, sterilize and maintain glassware; set up equipment for testing.
• Sample & Records Management: log and store samples; manage retain samples; record data accurately.
• Inventory, Ordering & Housekeeping: manage inventory and reorder; code purchases; receive deliveries; maintain lab cleanliness and safety.
• Supervised Technical & Analytical Support: assist with routine analytical testing under supervision; run core assays when needed; maintain qualification records.
