Job summary

Eurofins USA Genomic Services in Louisville, KY seeks a motivated R&D Technician to support daily lab operations. You will assist with sample processing and molecular biology workflows, working closely with the R&D Manager to ensure quality and safety.

You will receive training in DNA/RNA extraction, RT-PCR, ELISA, and NGS workflows, contribute to documentation, and help maintain ISO-compliant records in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field is preferred.
• Willingness to receive training in molecular biology techniques and R&D protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in recordkeeping.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Process samples for developmental research as directed by the R&D team.
• Collaborate with the R&D Manager to ensure samples meet quality standards and timelines.
• Maintain lab inventory and assist with ordering reagents and materials.
• Follow QA system and safety protocols.
• Assist with DNA/RNA extraction, quantification, gel electrophoresis, and NGS workflows.
