Job summary

The Tiny Cargo Company in Roanoke, Virginia seeks a Manufacturing Technician to perform cleanroom production of milk-derived extracellular vesicles across unit operations from raw materials to purification, lyophilization and packaging, ensuring cGMP compliance.

You will join a two-person team, progress toward independent qualification within your first year, and report to the Manufacturing Manager, with hands-on training and a clear path to advancement.

Qualifications

• Bring hands-on lab or manufacturing experience and aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing steps per approved batch records across raw material receipt, clarification, tangential flow filtration, chromatographic purification, lyophilization, fill, and packaging.
• Prepare buffers and process solutions to specification.
• Set up, operate, and monitor process equipment and automated isolation systems, escalating excursions and faults promptly.
• Perform equipment changeover, cleaning, and sanitization, and support cleaning verification sampling.
• Perform in-process sampling and routine in-process testing, including cleaning verification and environmental monitoring sampling.
• Complete batch record entries contemporaneously and legibly.
• Maintain environmental monitoring records supporting cleanroom certification.
• Report events, excursions, and discrepancies immediately, and support deviation investigations with accurate, factual accounts.
