Job description

myEnologist is a growing, dynamic, wine lab in Napa. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive person to expand our energetic analysis team. This position requires a meticulous, detail oriented individual who enjoys working with others in a fast paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include solution, reagent, and sample preparation; equipment setup and operation; and wet chemistry and enzymatic analysis. Additional duties will include customer interaction, cleaning, data entry and other tasks as assigned.

A successful candidate will be able to accurately and consistently follow established procedures, work independently, and make recommendations for process improvements. Applicants must have strong reasoning skills, be computer literate, and exhibit outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. Flexibility and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential.

A minimum of a B.S. degree in Chemistry, Biology, Enology, or related field is required. Additional requirements include the ability to lift 55 lbs on an occasional basis; sit and stand for long periods; frequently open and close sample containers; understand and follow written technical instructions including chemical labeling and safety procedures.
