Job description

Title: Entry Level Lab Technician

Location: Alameda, CA 94502

Duration: 06 Months

Description:

• The Technician will be responsible for unpacking boxes safely and sorting the returned products by product lines.
• Investigate returned products to resolve customer complaints regarding blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors.
• Document complaint investigations in the Complaint Handling System.
• Utilize troubleshooting equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes, etc., to complete investigations.
• Must have basic computer skills to navigate internet programs, basic Excel skills, and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Experience in the Medical Device or Biotech industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting is a plus.
• Must be a fast learner and able to follow written work instructions and SOPs.
• Strong documentation skills are essential.
• Good computer skills are necessary for data entry of investigation results.
• Ability to focus during repetitive and routine investigations is required.
• Ideal candidates may have manufacturing, inspection, or assembly experience.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• An Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Science field is a good fit.
• Recent college graduates with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields may be considered, but candidates with a Bachelor's degree are not the ideal fit for this entry-level position.
