Job summary

Clean Harbors, located in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This role involves sample preparation and analysis to determine chemical and physical properties, in a traditional lab setting with no travel. Shift is Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm; OT and Saturdays as needed.

Training on a day shift for 4-6 weeks. Pay is $22/hour with $1.75/hour shift differential. Clean Harbors offers health benefits after 30 days, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of specialized training.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or physical science preferred.
• Solid understanding of math, chemistry and chemical testing.
• Experience in a laboratory preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of samples following prescribed procedures, with the ability to solve minor problems.
• Calibrates and utilizes instrumentation.
• Maintenance of equipment suggests solutions to problems.
• Completes all paperwork associated with the analyses in a neat and timely fashion.
• Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.
• Responsibility for supply management in their area of responsibility, including proper housekeeping and best management practices.
• Responsible for proper management of waste generated as a result of analytical procedures.
• Maintains a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA and company policies.

Job description

Clean Harbors located in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is a traditional, white lab coat position that offers no travel.
