Job summary

Clean Harbors Kimball, NE seeks a Lab Chemist II to analyze samples and determine chemical properties using chromatography and spectroscopy. Safety-focused individuals are required and will operate GC, GCMS, and ICP with equipment maintenance duties.

Responsibilities include managing waste, documenting data, and ensuring OSHA-compliant laboratory practices while supporting quality control and process improvements. DOE with day, evening, and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or science-related field required.
• Environmental focus preferred; no Pharma/BioMed.
• Experience in a laboratory setting with analytical instruments.
• Excellent communication, organization and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot analytical equipment.

We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE Incineration units are seeking a Lab Chemist- II

that is responsible for the analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties using chromatography and spectroscopy techniques. Safety focused individuals required.

$29+ hourly, paid weekly with OT, DOE. Day, 4/9-hour shifts per week- (Days, 2nd and Night shift).

QUALIFICATIONS

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or science related field- required
• Environmental focus, No Pharma, BioMed please
• Prior experience in a laboratory setting
• Excellent communication, organization, and quantitative skills
• Proficiency with computer applications
• Ability to document, record, and analyze data and information
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends when necessary
• An excellent commitment to health and safety
• Accountability; punctuality
• Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
• Background check, drug screen and physical- required
• Valid US DL
