Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field and 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Support Tech III, or 3 years of related work experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle interruptions.
• Proficiency with multiple information systems used in the lab, including EMR and LIS.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the flow of specimens throughout the laboratory.
• Trains staff and acts as Tech in Charge, as needed.
• Follows procedures and ensures specimen integrity and data accuracy in LIS.
• Triages and prioritizes specimens to meet turnaround times.
• Performs troubleshooting, documents issues, and supports QA initiatives.
