Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs technical assignments involving sequences of related operations.
• Uses knowledge of terminology and procedures in a technical field.
• Processes specimen information and patient demographics for LIS/EMR input.
• Follows procedures and uses judgment to ensure proper practices.
• Identifies and processes specimens, maintaining specimen integrity.
• Trains new staff as needed.
• Travels between testing locations as required.
