Job summary

Laboratory Supervisor at Thacker Pass leads the site analytical laboratory, overseeing personnel, scheduling, and quality control to ensure reliable results for process control and product quality.

Based in Nevada, you will collaborate with Operations, Process/Metallurgy, Quality and Environmental teams, report to the Quality Manager, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Five or more years of relevant laboratory experience in mining, mineral processing, chemical manufacturing, or related industrial environment.
• Experience supervising, leading, or training laboratory personnel.
• Working knowledge of analytical laboratory operations and QA/QC practices.
• Familiarity with LIMS and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of analytical laboratory personnel and activities.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation and adherence to QA/QC procedures.
• Coordinate sample flow and prioritize work for timely results.
• Review data for accuracy and ensure proper data entry in LIMS.
• Maintain instruments, coordinate repairs, and oversee documentation.
